In the heart of Ellesmere Park sits Monton Sports Club, one of the most popular wedding venues on this side of Greater Manchester. The Venue looks out on to the stunning cricket grounds and boasts multiple options for your wedding reception.
Monton Sports Club was once Quaker Bridge Ground and over the last century has seen outstanding transformations to create the beautiful setting that it is today.
We have two flexible spaces for wedding occasions and use of the grounds is also permitted depending on availability.
The Oakwood Lounge provides the perfect setting for your civil ceremony, with a maximum capacity of 70 guests. Registrar times available both mid-week as well as Friday, Saturday and Sundays.
The Cavendish Suite is the ideal space for your wedding breakfast and/or evening reception with its light outlook over the cricket grounds. We can seat 50-140 guests and keep the party going through until midnight. The outdoor patio seating area is included in the hire, with access until 10pm.
Our experienced in-house event coordinators & room dressers will be there for as much or as little as you need working alongside you every step of the way.
Our outstanding and highly recommended Catering Partner will cater for your every need, whether that is canapes on arrival, hot & chilled buffets, children’s menus as well as sit down two, three or four course possibilities. Our team will work with you on a bespoke menu.
We can cater for a maximum of 140 people buffet style & 110 for sit down meal options.
We are here to ensure you have the perfect day. Our dedicated team will be there to support you through the ceremony, wedding breakfast and/or just evening reception.
