Monton Cricket Club has a huge range of cricket coaching facilities and expertise. We cater for children as young as 5 (All Stars) all the way up to adults. We have a thriving junior section as is evident on a Friday evening throughout summer, when the field is completely filled with hundreds of kids enjoying training sessions!

We operate two senior sides in the Northern England Lacrosse Association and have a thriving junior academy with teams at U8, U10 and U12′s which are open to both girls and boys.

During the season which runs from September to April, senior games are on Saturdays at 2pm. Junior fixtures are on Saturday mornings at 10am.

Seniors train on a Tuesday evening from 8pm at Eccles College. The juniors also practice at Eccles but on a Friday between 6pm and 7pm.

Football Development Group

Monton Sports JFC in association with Instinct Football Academy host a development group every Saturday morning on the astro pitch at Monton Sports Club.

It is aimed at 4,5 & 6 year olds with the aim of getting ready for club football and we have just put our first team from this group into the league which gives them an advantage of having played together for months in this development group. If you have a child who would like to come and try please contact Phil from IFA on 07927 753517 with any enquiries or to book a place.

It runs from 10am-11am and is £20 per month cash. Our fully qualified coaches lead the sessions which are suitable for girls and boys of all abilities.

There are two courts, available to be booked for social squash, as well as being used for league games.
