Thank you so much to the whole sports club team, you absolutely made our wedding day on Saturday. From allowing the dog to visit, the best man to arrange a conga, colllecting blazers left behind and most importantly to the bar staff for helping us keep a little secret without a hitch! Your attentiveness did not go unnoticed! Your ability to let the fun roll was amazing and we really do appreciate it. DJ phill - incredible! Kept everyone dancing from 5pm till midnight. You embraced the many dad dancers and their many requests! Catering - the chicken was amazing! We have had so many compliments on the food and the service was fantastic. Cat - nothing was too much to ask throughout the whole process. From plasters for cut shoulders to helping us keep our secret. Everyone has said how brilliant the staff were at facilitating the fun and keeping it all running like clockwork. It really was the best night of our lives and we can’t thank you enough, for all of the little touches that meant the world.

We just want to thank you for the amazing buffet you served at our son Martins wake recently everyone absolutely enjoyed it the service from catering and bar staff was excellent thus creating a lovely atmosphere everyone went home completely satisfied. Everyone had such a great time and it was so well organised, all I had to do was panic about everyone turning up. You made it really easy so i could actually enjoy it and concentrate on my fizz.

Myself and Brett would like to say a huge thank you to all of the staff at Monton Sports club, especially Petrina. We booked this venue almost 2 and a half years ago and changed our wedding date twice, even though the staff and management must have been going through so must stress and uncertainly during various lock downs this certainly never showed. They were so accommodating and even managed to find us a perfect last minute August date when the last lockdown was extended. Nothing was too much to ask, every request I made was answered and accommodated. The venue itself is beautiful and the work completed during lock down made it even better! The food was stunning! So many guests complimented the meal & evening buffet and there was plenty for everyone, the kitchen staff made sure we didn’t run out of anything and everyone was fed. During the night I noticed there was always a member of staff on hand, looking and checking if anything was needed or there was anything they could do. They ushered in all my vendors to get set up, the band, children’s entertainer, photo booth and made sure I was free to enjoy my night. Not forgetting of course Cat and all the amazing bar staff, it’s so lovely after your wedding to have so many people compliment you on the venue and how friendly & helpful the bar staff were, especially at such a big wedding no one was every left waiting at the bar for long, the staff worked so hard. This just made our night even more perfect. From both of us thank you for making our day perfect!! We will definitely be returning for future events, we wouldn’t book anywhere else.

The room is gorgeous, absolutely perfect for parties, I had around 75 guests and it wasn’t too full or empty like you always worry about. Arranging things with Petrina was so easy, everything was really flexible and nothing was too much trouble for them. I had the burger menu and they went down really well, there was enough of all the food and people to serve it. The outside area is really nice and private. The bar staff were lovely, drinks were very reasonably priced and everyone had a great time! Thanks so much to Petrina and all the staff for making it really easy to organise and so fun and special. I’d recommend Monton Sports Club to anyone who wants a party venue in the future. I also used their recommended DJ who was great too!

Surprise Birthday Party 18/08/2017
Hi Nicole. I would just like to express our thanks for the service from Monton sports club. Everything went well for our mam's surprise birthday, seeing so it was arranged at such short notice. All staff was really helpful and whatever I asked for was done. The food was lovely so massive thanks to Petrina for delivering quality food for enough people. Everyone was so friendly. Our guests have also said how great everything was and will be recommending the venue and catering to others. Thank you Julie

Hi Nicole Just a note to say a huge thank you for last Thursday. Josh and the staff on duty were extremely helpful to us when we first arrived and continued to be attentive throughout the day. Patrina/caterers were excellent – food was served fresh, hot and beautifully presented. The buffet lunch was refreshing and just what we needed before the meeting started. The BBQ was delicious and the vegetarian options were highly praised. The DJ’s music was ideal and put us all in the mood for a great boogie in a Manchester club later….all in all a hugely successful day which you all contributed to. Many thanks once again. Hi Nicole Just to confirm what Jane and I told you today but better in writing so you may use our testimonial to let future clients know how good you are there. The whole day was outstanding, faultless to be honest. The food, both wedding breakfast and evening buffet were of a fantastic standard. Everybody commented on the high standards of the food and your staff were super friendly and efficient. The room and table dressings were spectacular too. We were made to feel so at ease that we could just get on and enjoy the day, which in itself is priceless. DJ Phil was brilliant, not just doing his music but the way he involved himself in the whole event, as was Petrina. I appreciate it was our big day and we’re biased to an extent but you and your staff made it that bit more special. Thanks for looking after us and being genuinely part of our day Xx
